10 buks the coffee set.
2 bucks 1 liter of black coffee from the department store.
Slept 3 hours last night.
Took over 200 pictures and this was the last one. :)
I had the idea in mind for quite a while and I was waiting for a good suitable challenge.
Firstly my idea was to make the picture in the day time (better reflection) but my everyday work is taking all my time so I had no other way...:( But after all I think it has more "coffee shop" atmosphere...
NO SEPIA...this is the original color.
Big problem with the lights so I used 4 candles that lights the reflected picture.
The hand is mine. Wearing only underware and a white shirt and my best BOSS jacket only on right hand. LOL :)
The idea with the cigar came after shooting about 150 pictures. This morning my apartment still had a heavy tobacco smell.
:)

lovely shot, but the wooden table bugs me,
i believe it would have been a better shot with a glass table on black wood

echoman, Picture This, Troutbear, FleaNZ, Cyndane, eransh10, livitup, just-married please see the attached picture. This is how I made it. Thank you for your comments!

Longreach this is the nicest complimet I've ever received, Thank You!

DrAchoo :))) I thought about putting the girl upside down. Then I decided to post this one. Thank you for your comment!

BrenB, thank you for your comment. Yes, it is true, the lighting on the hand is a bit too much. Probably because of the long exposure. Unfortnately I've seen it the next morning. On the small display of the camera I couldn't tell. I could fix it immediately with PS or ACDSEE but I would have been DQ for spot editing.
I've been asked during the challenge to send the original picture.

alionic Thank you! :) Looking forward to go shooting together. It seems that the weather will be bad this weekend :(

CeeDeez I am glad to see you're interested how the picture was made. If I had someone to help it would have taken half the time. I had to do countless shots until I could manage to have the picture above perfectly reflected in the coffee. Being late and with the normal room light it was difficult to see the face reflected. Actually the face appeeard clearly only in a long exposure (10 sec).

eschelar To keep my hand still was tough. I had to keep it on the table but touching the table made the candles flickering and distort the coffee surface. Until everything retunred to normal and I was sitting on my knees under the tripod there was no one to click the camera button. HEEELP !!!!
:)))

henry_buckle Thank you for your comment. About the 1 and 5 of 2's and 10 of 3's...still a bad, bad world! :(

Can I use the same pic for Reflections Challenge ? LOOOL !!!

Congratulations on a well deserved blue with this clever Coffee Shop shot! Would be cool to see the whole set-up... where the "face" was positioned in relation to the lightning etc... and maybe the underware part too! Glad to see your efforts paid off in capturing the Blue!

Very nice capture of reflection in coffee. Two very minor comments - lighting seems a bit odd and I would have preferred more than one light source or reflectors to get the sides a bit and color is a bit on the warm side for me... hand seems unnaturally orange and white elements also have orange tinge. Overall very good, though.

Wow, at first I didn´t notice the face in the coffee, I just clicked on "6" and went on to the next image but I felt I missed something so I came back and there it was and it really makes this image "pop". Bumped up to 8 and well if the WB wasn´t so yellowish and the lighting a bit softer I might very well have given this a 10... Nice work, hope most people noticed the face in the coffee, I have a feeling this might not score so well if they don´t notice it...

Bumping to a 10 because that reflection is just tripping me out. It should be upside down so either the image is flipped or the girl is upside down (or you cheated, but I won't assume that). But neither of those make sense to me. The girl upside down would be very difficult.

UPDATE: OK, I think I figured it out... :)

Ok, here's my guess (is this the longest comment ever?). The image is upside down. The girl is on the same side as the arm, but the arm is provided by another person. Dang, I don't think that's right either...
