 sat a capsicum on its side, lit with a 60w bulb. post processing was levels, color balance, resize and sharpen.

Well, this one moved me to register so's I could comment ; ) I really like the idea, probably would have been in my top 10. The colors are great and it's a wonderful example of not having to look too hard. I think it would have been better composed had about 3/4 of the pepper been in the shot. I love the angle, though.

This is a very good shot clean and crisp. Lighting is good, however i don't care for the idea of an added frame being used to enhance a photograph. Without the black edge this becomes a 6 rather than an 8
