Love the lighting in this..it really brings out the sleekness of the black fur...and those yellow eyes...wow.
The background makes a great contrast for the subject.

Very good, love the way the cat's eyes "pop" from its blackness. The red background helps give the image its punch, and the wood texture in the foreground adds to the effect. Very nice pic.

I just love the red backdrop. the DOF is good but the focus seems to be a bit stronger on the pilon than on the cat. His eyes are a standout and his blue black coat is great against the backdrop of the old wood. 8

personally I am not too fond of cat photos - (too easy to take at home) but this is a great photo. Love the eyes and the contrast with the red background. 8
