A mist over Frenchman's Bay in Acadia National Park. This view is from about 3/4 up Cadillac Mountain, at about 6:30 AM, where a beautiful sunrise has just occured and the sunrise light (the sun is just off the photo right) is lighting the landscape with raking light and accenting the mist.

Well, I have been thinking of taking a trip there for several years. Now you have made that vague thought a certainty. Lovely photo - intriguing. Surprising what one finds in the archives of DPC. Lucky hihosilver below dredged this one up.

amazing. The second landmass from the bottom really makes this a one of a kind picture. It looks like a right side up reflection. Really stunning.

Great repetition, makes me want to get in a boat and just go to the end. This is superb and I hope to create a BW image as fine as this one day. Even the bottom 50% of the photo could have made a fine photo as well. I hope to visit this park one day.

I agree with quark. . .you ARE indeed the Master! Your work should be exhibited in a gallery! I hope it is :)

Neil, you are, indeed, a master! You never cease to amaze!!! I'm on a "black & white kick" right now, so this shot is all the more impressive. Fabulous work!
