Reshoot, reshoot, reshoot.

I had an entry of a hammer hitting an alarm clock - then I realized dpc doesn't have much sense of humor. So I used the humor in the title.

Let's see if anyone says "this isn't sound."

Guess - 5.6

nice finish! Too bad not that many people "got" the humour in the title...good thing titles have little to do with good photography. well done! :)

Duotone works well with this image. Great stop action and composition. One of the best this week.

Omigosh! This is excellent. The freeze action is amazing. Such good timing. Great job! 10

Hey.. Your title doesn't really reflect the picture. This is a good shot, but something feels odd about it. Did you use neatimage? That all the water isn't crisp and clear kinda bugs me. I like the composition and the tones tho!

Actually, it's a bit more "kersploosh" than drip. :) I just love the clarity of the water frozen there, and I can definitely hear it! Nice work!

Yes, I can hear it too. 9 Morgan

Kind of a cool shot anticipation of the splash

Screw the sound...how in the hell did you capture this? That is a perfect shot and it's amazing that you captured the water just before it hit the sink! You can't see me but I'm bowing down to you, lol. I've been trying to master this for a minute and my photos never come out like this! I love it!

This is a fantastic capture. I wonder if it is ice or something. Doesn't really look like a "Drip drip drip..." like the title suggests. More of a gush! 10 from me.

Did you use a "sound trigger" for this? Very cool. I want to try that out.

Ahhh! This is amazing! I hope it places very high. Must've been very hard to capture it so quickly after you turned the faucet on.

Mmm... that's less a drip than a splutter. I think either a small droplet of water or water hitting the sink rather than coming from the faucet would have worked better in terms of challenge relation. It's an interesting capture, though, with the edge of the water visible as it is rather than a full stream. Nice lighting.

Looks more like gush gush than drip drip.
Nicely done. Love the stop action.

Very technically creative. The shadows on the right are a bit distracting, but not overly so.

Great photo but the title doesn't really work. Its a bit more than a drip - but I'm being really picky. Hope you didn't get wet.

I'll bet you went through a lot of attempts before you were able to capture that! Very well done!

I don't think your title fits - that water isn't dripping, it's gushing. And it's not hitting anything so it hasn't made a sound yet, surely?

Fantastic how you stopped a moment in time so well.

that's more than a drip! that's a brutal splash! intersting texture in the water in black and white. it looks almost like an icicle.

Not so soundy, but I love the timing of the water coming out,9 from me!
