I took a more literal meaning of the word "destination" as the finality of a travel or trip. Here I took a photo of Toronto's most distinguishable landmark, the CN Tower and a train coming in from the southwest region of Ontario. The blur on the train was intentional to convey the mood of movement and anticipation or anxiety of going to a big city. I wanted a train to be present in the composition and so I patiently waited for one to arrive. It being a Sunday night, the wait was more than an hour. There would have been more trains going in and out of the tunnel if it was a weekday. While waiting, two other photographers came up the bridge at the foot of Bathurst St. where I took this shot from... and had a nice small chat with them.

The photo personally relates to my move to Toronto almost 16 years ago to rejoin my parents and other siblings.

Shot in raw mode.
Post processing: levels, curves, color adjustments, perspective correction, crop, resize, usm, border.

I cloned a few unwanted stuff stuff on the tracks and along the side. I did selective levels adjustment since in the original the bottom part was a lot darker than the upper half because the sun was fast going down.

Very nice. Smart composition and the blur on the train serves a definite purpose in the shot. I like the sky too. Good job.

This is a really awesome photo. Not having seen it I can't be sure, but I think I may have liked the train to be motionless, but regardless, I do really love this photo. 8.

I think it could have looked a bit better if you had a shorter shutter speed. If the train was a little more blury it would be awesome.

Love the colours and composition. The train seems a bit odd tho'. Can't put a finger on it, sorry.

awesome photo, I can see you used a slow shutter speed to create movement in your photo, and I think you achieved it. best of luck ;)

Beautiful and surreal. I like the motion blur of the train or I wouldn't have believed it was real. Well done, 10

I like the movement of the train. The leading lines is good. I think I'd play with curves to deepen the colors just a smidge.
