I'm new.. I think thats all? ~blink~

OKay Okay... LOL I couldnt wait for the challenge to end so I could say Thank you first for ALL your comments.. and suggestions!! This was my first challenge and it was fairly painless ;) laughing..
I know the shot was tilted..I tend to lean to the right and am trying to learn to self correct..but with a point and shoot and rare use of my tripod.. its a challenge. I wasnt aware when I submitted, that i'd be allowed to correct something like that.. I've since learned... ITS OKAY Yay!! It was one of the main things that bugged the heck outta me too.. so I thank you for your validations :)

I found this scene to be poetic.. death became something so twisted and beautiful in my back yard.. (so to speak)

Congratulations on your top 10 finish with this lovely vista as backdrop for an interesting branch formation.

Greetings from the Critique Club!

What a lovely shot! Reading your comments and the comments of others, there really isn't much I can add to that.

Yes, it's tilted and can be corrected.

The setting is very nice and the overall colors and light are great. I see this is your first entry, good luck in future challenges!

This is such a nice location and subject for this challenge. I would like this image even more if it were level, but it's still an excellent branch photo. Nicely done!

Gorgeous subject. I would like to see the horizon line straightened out and better focus on background.

I like the drfitwood and it is well placed in the imae. Looking at the water line of the left the image appears rotated a bit to the right.

I like the color and light in this shot, but I just can't get past the tilt.

Out of focus, and the skewed line of the river bank bang in the centre makes for a poor composition.

River tilted a little too much...5

Great capture of this scuptural branch--at first I thought it was a skull of a deer/moose. I would have balanced the horizon.

Is it just me or is the camera tilted strangely? Straighten it up and this is an 8, leave it like this and it is a 5. If I am wrong, tell me ;)

sorry this is my pet peeve...that is an amzing shot, except for the horizon...tilted to the right. Just a simple fix and it would make a tremendous improvement. But a great shot nevertheless, very pretty place

Cool Shot. Love the foreground/background everything!!! Would have loved to see a bit more vivid colors, but really a great shot none-the-less -- 6 --

Really like the composition of this shot. Bumping up.

I like the image, but to me its need to be a little straighter on the horizon.

I really like this photo...just a bit too overexposed on a part of the branch..but other than that it's well composed.

Very nice landscape! You composed all the elements very well around the subject. I can see the depth and detail and nothing is distracting. 9

Very nice. I wonder how this would look in B&W - possbily quite Ansel-ish.

Beautiful piece of wood and setting. Your lake is pouring out the right side of the image or give the impression that it is. 5

I love driftwood. For some reason it is very appealing. Beautiful setting. One thing that would make this photograph perfect is aligning the horizon so that it is level. Great exposure and framing otherwise.

Wow - fantastic focus on this one. Beautiful tones too. Not crazy about the tilted horizon, but otherwise love the shot.
