This is one of the many gravel roads around my town. I felt this captured the feeling you have after a long hard day and you're on the way home finally.

Where is home, though... I am finding a hard time linking this with the challenge. "Photograph the place you call home." Where is it?

Nice like the perspective. Makes me fell like im racing down the hill at my aunts house in Massachusetts

I like how the road leads into the picture, and the framing of the trees.

You know something, I've been throught almostall of the pictures and this is the first one I come across that is worthy of a really hight score. The shadows in the road add good contrast and a lot of depth. EXCELLENT PICTURE!

Like the picture, wish you could have taken that sign down before taking it, but I like it overall.

This road, as shot, looks disturbingly like an esophagus. Which isn't necessarily a *bad* thing .. great lighting, contrasts, angle. Like it a lot. 9.

Real mystery here. The depth created by the light to dark tones is dramatic.

nice idea..i like the symetry also..i think maybe you should have included a house in the distance somehow. the b&w works here

I always like photos of roads or pathways where the trees arch over. The only thing with this one is the feeling of a deadend. I think it would be more appealling if one could see the end of the tunnel of trees. I think more contrast would also help.

How did you get all of the leaves to be so white? This kind of reminds me of an image taken with IR film.

I like this image. It's cool how the light makes stripes down the road. However this is not an image of the place you call home, even if it may lead to your home. I would also have liked to see something at the end of the path since the road leads you into the picture and there's nothing there. 6

this is my favourite, it reminds me of cycling home in summer, good angle, colour and composistion, a clever interpretation. 10

This is a wonderful sepia toned photo which would have also done well in the duotone challenge. I feel myself going into the dip of the road just looking at this, good work - 9.

Very formal, seen it done before, but I like the way that this picture comes across. The road sign actually helps, because it reminds you that this is a road TO somewhere, which is important for the "home sweet home" theme.

This is just so appealing to the eye. I love the curve of the road, the symmetry. I feel like I could fall into your picture and just keep walking down the road. Good take on the challenge. My only 10 this week - good luck

I like that song :) This is just such a NICE photo. The tones are great. I bet it's gorgeous in fall too. Perfect exposure. You just need a little old model T or a little girl going down the road. The shadows on the road are cool... I just had to comment on this one because I'm already tired of voting on all these others, and I just started *sigh*
