ah! I am editing this from futureshop right now, I ain't at home and got no internet connection where I'm visiting. :-)
so maybe there aint much rain in it, and I'll get "it's more about the horse than the rain" comments
Which, of course I agree.
I wanted to show 'the food chain' you know, the water feeds the grass, the grass feeds the horse and the horse feeds the troll.

Congrats on your top 10!
This is a great photo. Not the blunt, in-your-face rain, but still rain all over!

i'd like slightly more pastel colors next time.

Like I've said MANY times before, I hate your guts, mah boy. ;)

Great shot! I like how this is so different from all the usual pretty-little-horsey shots.

the angle makes this outstanding.

This is a really nice pic. I do feel that it looks a bit overprocessed, though. I also think you could have revealed more detail in the horse, it is a bit dark.

Horse must have been wondering what you were doing. Just a bit dark. You can tell it rained and can see some small drops hit the water. Like the reflection.

Looks like Pedro's horse, like how you got close to the ground and just enough ripples in the puddle to tell it's raining. bumping up

I think I might have liked the image better if you cropped out the second horse in teh background. Also, it needed a little brightening up.

Strong image; different and intersting composition, but which actually follows all the rules one could wish for. Love the colour - especially the vibrant green - though one might wish for more detail in the horse's face perhaps, for all that it isn't the real subject, it would add depth (as if it were lacking much depth anyhow - but there could be more, no?)

Nice contrast

Interesting perspective, I like the distortion the wide angle lense creates here, as well as the low angle. The fence line helps lead the eye to the subject and there are actual rain drops falling into the puddle. Good job adding an interesting element to this challenge.

Really nice I wish I could see just a little bit of detail on the horse's face, but that could also possible be a monitor calibration issue too.

Outstanding in every way. The reflection, the horses and that fence that leads away from the lovely foregound past the horses and into the sky. 10

Very nice. To me it looks a little too smooth. I think it might be improved by cropping out the left horse. Get a high score nonetheless.

The main horse is a little under exposed, a little dodging might have really helped here but a great shot none the less.
