 For those that felt this was a tentative fit to the challenge - In the two weeks prior, I had watched news footage of thousands dying in India from monsoon rains, due to poor buildings and infrastructure. Affluence here in Singapore means we will rarely be in the same position.

I gave this a 10 in the Affluence Challenge.
I also gave your swimming pool pic a high mark (I think a 9)
You certainly haven't lost your touch, because these challenges aren't that old.

OMG!!!! I just scared the be-jeepers out of every living thing in a two mile radius:))
I'm shaking and feeling sick - thank you all so much;)

I think the universe is having a good laugh at my expense though, becuase I know what's going to happen now - I need to send my original for validation and as you know I can't upload images at the moment due to my ISP....so I fully expect to see this at the bottom of the pile in 48 hrs time. I don't know whether to laugh or cry!!!!!!!!

Great colours, sky and composition. Looks to have suffered a little when resized or sharpened but I like the picture too much to penalise it for "jaggies".

I love the blue clouds contrasting sharpley with the black clouds. This is where a good view camera comes it play getting rid of the convergence would have made this image number 1.

The color contrast makes this shot, the light building against the dark sky. The blue windows only enhance it even more. Great shot!

I like the idea of this very much. Nice composition. My one critique would be to straight out the building just so that its lines are parallel with the bottom edge. Nice blue coloration and the sky is very complimentary. 8

Great shot. It's a bit of a stretch for the Affluence challenge, but I will give you the benefit of the doubt since its is such a nice pic. "9" from me.

building appears tilted. sky could use some more details. good colours reflected on the glasses. 8

WOW! This picture is absolutely beautiful. One of my top pics of the challenge...I love architecture shots first of all, and with a sky like this you have a killer shot! Great job and good luck!
