 I guess theres going to be plenty of taillights, IR and plenty of waterfall shots in this challenge. So I've gone with the IR group using an R72 filter on the 28mm lens.

Taken at Ladybower Reservoir on an overcast grey day, so no black skies on this one.

Post processing in PS - lots of it:

Desaturation using hue/saturation
Duplicated base layer and added a radial/zoom blur, then altered the transparency to 25%. This makes the eye subconciously follow the faint lines all pointing to the bridge.

Flattened image, then duplicated the layer and applied gausian blur in same way, changing transparency to 45%. To this I applied a mask and brought detail back into the area around and under the bridge. The eye wants to rest here so there has to be plenty of detail.

Finally changed contrast and brightness plus curves to make the whole thing glow.
Dodge and burn to bring up the highlights in the leaves.

My absolute favorite IR image of the challenge...I love the clarity of the bridge contrasted against the softness of the surroundings...the water is like glass, a mirror really...the blur is very nice, it adds to this otherworldly/dream like aura the image already has by being infrared...very nice.

Love the reflection. Almost mirror like. I also like the blur of the trees/bushes in the surrounding areas. I find it accents the reflection. Well done and good luck in this challenge. <8>

This is very interesting. IT draws you in with it's mixture of clear and blurred elements. I like the pink/gray/black color scheme.
