| very nice, congrats on the ribbon. I have been intrigued by these tunnels every time i go through them. I think they are one of oslo's hidden secrets. :)... and those LONG escelators... and these great walls and pathways.... and to end it all off... that sound room at the top. Great capture. |

Hey Bea,
I used the Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 EX lens, it's taken at 12mm also.
No filter was used. I have cropped a little bit, maybe about 3-5% of the photo. It's important to remember that the 20D has a 1.6x crop, making the actual focal length 19,2mm. This surely helps on removing a lot of the "barrel" view it would give you on a fullframe or 1.3x crop body.

Could you explain the lense you used? Is the Aspherical DG to correct for warped appearances of wide-angle views? Just beginning to learn about lenses and filters since I do not own an SLR - yet!

It was taken at the national theater in Oslo,Norway. (Subway/Train station)

Wooohooo! Yippy! You all should have seen my face when I woke up this morning when I saw this! I will go out and celebrate with a beer or 6 today! Getting a ribbon in a 24hour challenge means a lot, since I've never doen well in a 24hour challenge!
