This image was DQed from a recent challenge. Although unfortunate, I learned my lessons.

What was lesson learned?

Save a back-up of the original file in it's unaltered state. I uploaded the file and viewed them via ACDSee and for some reason, it changed the EXIF and made it look like it was modified by Photoshop.

Never again will I do that :) It's unfortunate too because this was my second challenge attempt and I scored really well (placed fifth actually).

This rocks Rikki!
Couldn't be better, as the deep rich gradient blue in the sky is such a great contrast to the lines.

Great lines and good color and clarity. I would probably boost the whites just a bit. It's a shame it was dq'd. :( You have a nice eye for simple, yet effective composition.

Beautiful contrast b/n the white and blue. The ploarizer really made this shot sing!! Too bad about the DQ, but that doesn't mean its not a great shot by any means.

There is so many good things to say about this shot...

The composition is gorgeous and I like your use of negative space. The lighting is perfect and the blue and white play off each other perfectly. A great piece of abstract art. I would love to give you an idea or comment on the way this could be improved but I can't think of any. I would have scored it a 10.

WOW! I really love this shot. I like the gradient-looking sky, and also it's a great use of leading lines. The convergence of the lines is great and I can see the (implied) vanishing point. Overall, a very pleasing image that was executed wonderfully, with great output. I'll be adding this to my favorites.

I remember thinking that this was going to be a top-10 finisher. A really strong, well lit image that really grabs a viewer. Definitely a DPC "eye-candy" type of shot, and the sky is almost.. scarily smooth. That UV filter must be a good one.

The "triangular" composition is what makes this shot a winner.

This was my top pick of the challenge. It is still a great shot and you should be proud that you were able to "see" this and then capture it.
Keep up the good work!
