Great shot. Perfectly set up, technically spot on, and very appealing to the eye.
The colours are nice & strong and I love seeing the effect of light refracted through glass.
Well done.

This is really nice. I really like how you portrayed the primary colors for this challenge. Turned out to be a cool effect. The colors are vivid and literally pop out of the screen. I can't help but wonder, though, how it would look if the glasses had been placed on a mirrored tile so that the strips of color would have extended down through the whole picture. I don't particulairly like how the color abrubtly ends. Since it wouldn't be wise, in this case, to crop out the bottom of the glasses, there should be some way to extend the color down to your surface. 9 Good luck in the challenge

Great shot. I love the inverse colors that happens with this. background has some noise, but jpg compression does that.

05/15/2003 06:56:45 PM
yes I have seen this before...
well done, my only complaints are that the colors are oversaturated and the line at the bottom is not quite straight.

Great photo! It looks to me like one of your light sources is back lighting, is that correct? Definitely a 10 for concept and execution!

good work with the color and the refraction in this image... i like your theme quite a bit... the only minor issue i have is the halos around the glass... I dunno if its coming from saturation or sharpening...

Great effect. Well done.

05/13/2003 10:24:03 AM
very very tight shot. i feel like it needs something else besides the 2 glasses - something happening. still a very high score.

I have to have a favourite in every challenge I suppose and this is mine for the primary colors challenge. A slightly different angle of refraction, but in my opinion better than any I've seen so far. This is excellent work and if it doesn't win this challenge I will eat my keyboard.

I really like the simplicity of this shot - the only thing that I think could improve it would be to have brought it through on the floor.

Wow. Oh, wow. Luminous color, light that's almost painted on, crisp, clear, perfectly proportioned ... a ten. Definitely a ten, from me, anyhow. :-> Great shot, beautiful shot, and moreover it puts the challenge topic front and center in the starring role.
