I bought a plastic ball which you can insert a light stick into to make it glow for 4-6 hours. I set it on a Woody's pedestal and took various shots in the dark moving an LED light and a small torch. This exposure was 8 seconds.
This image was rotated 180 degrees.

Now that's really cool. It's simple, but I love the effect. The angled lines, the glow in the sphere, the colors that were chosen. Good luck in the challenge!

Wow! The crispness is nothing short of amazing! I love the colors. The centered composition is perfect for this shot. Great job!

'8' - Very nice ah, 'composition', nice crisp clean feel. Criticism (with the caveat I know squat about long exposures); firstly, for me, I don't like the texture on that ball (looks plastic to me), nor the color in this scheme. I wonder if some variation on the colors may have given more impact to this shot. No idea how you made the 'streaks', but they look very good. Again, the blue and brown, actually work ok together here, but for me, in my opinion, they clash with the central subject, thus it detracts a lot from this image. Very simple feel though, I like it.

Very cool. I'd maybe have the ball a bit off center, but otherwise, very clever! I like it.
