"What's this? (70's Batman announcer voice) Will Joey have to hang up his style and grundge filters? What will he have to resort to to get a higher score? Stay tuned!"

Nah, I've always wanted to try this 'painting with light' jazz

It was fun

I had a few lower 'cooler' 'less DPC' angles but my dads hand shake was too noticeable so I thought... eh, what the heck... My last challenge entry (zoo) recieved such a low score. :-)

the text is "the crystal ship" by the Doors

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind man!

Joey who?? ;-)

I missed this in the voting, but looks excellent. Stepping out a little is great! Don't be afraid of mediocre scores to try new things - you have a talent that needs to be tested to its limits. And of course you have fun doing it (unlike your poor dad!). :) Great job!

And you have been quite imaginative with this one. I like how you have shown the thoughs being transfered to paper.

I like the use of the dim light. I might desat the red of the hands just a little. This might be a cool shot in sepia or black and white!!

Interesting bluish light coming from the paper... Does it have any relevance to the photo?

I love the lighting and the strange eerie blue blur coming from the top of the typewriter.
