this is just beautiful. i love everything about it, and it inspires me to do a tight crop on some recent photos i took of my grandfather. just beautiful. the coloring is also a nice touch -- it adds a sense of timelessness to it. bravo to you!!!

This is extremely intimate and I can see why this means so much to you. It also has value in terms of its artistic merit. Very interesting piece to look over and enjoy even if the subject is unknown.
