Nice shot, a bit blurry though (more dof would be nicer). I actually lived in Colorado Springs when I was 13-15. You should have taken a shot with a rock climber on one of them, that would've been better. 7

Nice shot. Really pretty scene, good for a postcard. About half way up the large mountain to the right is a blue dot that I find myself staring at for along time trying to figure out what it is. I guess that would be a distraction then. Otherwise, lighting conditions look ok for the shot, and the focus and clarity are good. Angle and framing/cropping are also nice. ~Heather~

really love the shape of these red rocks cutting into the light blue sky. Has a very rough and tumble "wild west" feel to it, and very natural! well done. 9

Very nice! Strong postcard feel. The sky isn't "perfect", but that's weather and this is pretty darn good anyway. 9 Rob the Swash

Good composition. A little too softly focused IMO.

Nice composition, wish it were a little sharper, and the sky deeper

Beautiful colours. Would look even better with a darker blue sky, ie. maybe with a polariser. Jacko. 9

Simple and elegant. Nice job.

Nice image, nice title, nice placement within the image. My only problem with this image is that i would have liked to see the first rock on the right more in focus (which seems to be on the second rock). That first rock is so blurred that i have some trouble relating to it. 8

Know the area well. Woodland Park, West Creek and Deckers..my family lived there a long time and I spent many summers there. Beautiful shot.

Not sure the text in the sky is needed, but I still gave this a top scoring. I like the play of shadows on the orange rock. You are fortunate to live in such a nice location. 10 -danny

I used to live in CS... Great DOF, althoug the furthest peak is a bit soft. I love pictures from places I have visited or lived. always brings back memories.

The color in the rocks is amazing, this would have been awesome with a crisp blue sky as well. Maybe a polarizer filter could have brought out the blue more, but still a 9 worth from me :-)
