I think this should have been titled curious, because that seems to be what this brave duckling is! I am not sure the image does a lot for me but it is a perfect match to the theme. |

Perhaps not the most artistically breathtaking image, but it's the perfect depiction of the challenge topic. This little guy looks exactly like he is nervously contemplating a first step that will change his life forever. Well spotted and well photographed. 7 |

I just love the colors in this shot. The duckling is a tad blown out but not to the point of distraction. The photo does respect the theme. Good job! 8 |

This photo is one of the best photos I have ever seen. I cried like a baby when I saw the little duckling looking at the deep water. I think I need to get my self together before I vote another picture. |

Nice idea, fits the theme well. The pic is good but a little soft and the duckling's back is overexposed. There are also some elements that distract but then you probably didn't have much time to take the picture. Well done. |

Got the cute factor perfectly. Looking for a high finish from this one. The green just makes the contrast required for a well finished shot. |

Ideal shot for the challenge! (7 for now, this one will likely receive a bump on the 2nd go round). |

Good shot, nice scene. A bit of overexposure on the duckling, but I'm not even sure how you'd fix that, so it doesn't matter...lol |

Since I am lacking in technical skills, I cannot give helpful comments. I am strictly a photo buff who is trying to improve, but as to telling you what is wrong or right, I am in no position to say. I am simply voting based on whether I like the picture or not. Sorry, maybe someday I will be able to give helpful advice |

Too bad the little dude is overexposed. A polarizing filter could have helped with the water too. |

Love the yellow and complimentary yellow. Nice visual with the movement of the water. I like the softness of the duck against the more stiff lines of the grass. Very nice composition. |
