Great action shot. I'd love to know where your flash placement was in relation to the subject.

I dig the shadow on the wall, cool detail. You must shoot a lot of this kind of action.

8 - Good shot. Good angle (fish eye? helps) and I really like the shadow on the wall. Criticism; I think this shot would be great in black and white given the 'lines' and the shadows and the fairly 'plain' clothing. Sharper and a tighter crop (to get rid of that roundish shadow and the top light, if possible) would make this a better photograph for me.

Nice shot but, the empty bottom is not attractive and detracts from the shot.

AWESOME pic, what an awesome capture! Love the shadow and the sky. A little bright on the sidewalk, but overall a great photo.

Timing is great, choice of lens is superb. Composition could be stronger with closer positioning perhaps. It's tough to get sufficiently reduced depth of field with a fisheye/wide angle. I really like the choice of flash positioning - great shadow.

He must have caught that kickflip fairly early. I like what the flash does for this photo, except the shadow. The wide-angle lens makes this fit right in with what you see in the mags. Good job.

Nice shot. I like the shadows. The ligthing seems a little harsh in areas though. Would like to have seen this shot with a different sun angle to take some of the harshness off

Great action shot! I like the fisheye. My only comment would be to maybe get a little closer so the skateboarder fills more of the frame.

Good job capturing the action. On the down side, I think the fill flash was a littel too strong.

Cool shot, the skater is a bit over exposed but I really like how you've captured one of my (personally) favorite sports from my youth. 7

A very good Idea and image but technically poor approach lets it down.
the cast shadows indicate that too much flash has been used making the image surreal.
Proper exposure should have been based on the highlight porion of the stairs, then the flash should be set 1 Stop LESS than this exposure for example the highlight exposure perhaps at F 16 @1/250th the flash is set for F8.
conversely you could have slowed the shutter right down to !/15th at whatever and used 2nd curtain sync. Give you an 8 for effort.
I hope you find this comment of some help,.
