cute

Cute kid, good pose, too much blue in skin. Almost old fashioned quality to it.

"I've just been sitting here with my puppy, honest!"

Placed in my top three.

Posed or not I can visualize this little tyke taking a rest with his worldly possesions. Great lighting of the subject and excellent job of getting peach skin in a picture with so many overtones of blue.

Cute photo, wish the child was scooted over to the left a few inches in the photo (rule of thirds kind of thing). Also, while I like the bricks (they make a nice seat for him) I wish the background window (?) was more simple -- at least to remove the reflections.

ok, I have just one word ... cute ....

You have filled up the frame nicely. This picture is one that would be good centered exactly, I think. As it is, it is just slightly left of center and it gives it a slightly off-balanced feeling to me. Great capture of the kids' expression.

Cute kid, nice use of the repetitive khaki color of his clothes, hat and the steps there. I think the toys distract from his expression a bit though...maybe either the dog or the cup but not both. and you probably know that the reflection in the door doesn't add anything...

The best of the child pictures this week. Good sharp focus and understated colors..

very cute. Well done

This is precious. I love pictures of children and you did a great job.

You will get a lot of negative comments because you used the photo of a child but pay them no mind. It may not be "creative and artsy" but those who critize obviously don't know that you can take 100 shots and only one will really capture the quicksilver moods of a small child, which is what you did beautifully. Congrats!

I'm caught by the expression, nice. A top 10 shot.

This little boy is Adorable! I love the expression. The only thing I might change is the background. The sliding glass door?? is kind of distracting. I bet you have 1000's of picture of this little guy. I cant get over how cute he is.

Very cute, nicely framed as well, though I would have centered the child more.

Killer cute! You may win on cuteness alone. No gripes, I can't see anything "wrong" (sorry). Good job! Photo 10 Creativity 7 People 9 total 9

Great pose, and those eyes! I like the brick, but hate the background. If this had a garden background or something besides the reflective glass and framing, the mood would be complete.

Good shot. I think this is one of the best photos of kids that i have seen on here. Most people just try to throw any photo of their kid up and think it's cute. It looks like there's been an actual attempt at composition here.

what a honey - the 'eyes' have it!! great capture!!
05/28/2002 09:38:00 AM
Very nice capture :)

How cute! I love the pose, as well as the crispiness of the shot. Areas for improvement I see are (a) a more neutral background if possible, (b) get lower, down to the eye-level, and (c) if you have horizontal lines running through your picture, make sure they are indeed horizontal. Nevertheless, a good shot!

What great colors! And the feet are very expressive.

Beautiful smile and very lovely eyes!!! Very cute!!! =D

Excellent shot! Love the eyes!

Well done! Good work, composition. Maybe a tad OOF but this is just a wonderful little _people_!!!!!!!

I love the big wristwatch with the plastic lidded cup! The way he's got his feet makes the picture for me. He reminds me of the child in the movie "Life is Beautiful".
05/27/2002 12:13:00 PM
The foot up only adds to the title.
05/27/2002 09:34:00 AM
nice subject
05/27/2002 07:56:00 AM
What a cutie!
05/27/2002 07:26:00 AM
This is a darling photo! Nice choice of title too, very humorous!
05/27/2002 01:54:00 AM
I'm weak from the cuteness....
05/27/2002 01:50:00 AM
Very nice, gentle treatment of such an angelic child. The title stops it from being too sickeningly sweet :) Yes, it's all an act.
