I just love this portrait! It's simply awesome! The composition and cropping are so perfect. The lighting is nice and soft, and the mood conveyed in this shot is outstanding.

I gave you nine during the voting and I had a look at it again today. Still like it a lot (and it's not hormones...)

There's some interesting photoshop work here, but this still isn't a multi-image composition, it's just one image with some frames laid over it. However, I do like how each of the frames represents a different crop of the shot, each of which would be very effective (especially the top two). It's a good shot, but only by the farthest stretch of imagination does this fit the challenge. 4

I'm not sure if this is exactly what a triptych is, but this is an AWESOME picture! Being a father of 3, I know this feeling and love the image you are portraying. It is very well done, very soft and loving. Excellent shot and my pick for the winner. Good luck! 10

Gorgeous. The sensitivity of the subject is beautifully reflected in the sensitivity of the photographer composing this. Well done!

This is simply lovely. The edges on the middle panel are a little rough, but generally it is fantastic.

excellent image presentation... I personally think it would be stronger if the 'background' was a little more of an even color scheme for some reason... can't really put my finger on it...

Unique and intriguing. The "frames" seem to bring a bizarrely postmodern feeling to this image, as if the relationship were being scientifically dissected, which is strange, because postmodernism is usually so cold. However, the image and subject matter itself defy this, so it's as if you are gently poking fun at how such relationships are dissected. I'm in Lala Land now, so I'll stop. IN essence, this is a complex image that is warm and gentle, but goes much farther. Congratulations!

nice intimate moment captured. Although I disagree with the framing style. The dark lines across the child's face is a shame. I really like the lighting on the photo... very soft and warm, even being b/w.

not enough people have had the good idea to to work with transparancies. the bevelling though, could have been more discrete. 7

The softness you've created here is very effective. The expressions on the subject's faces looks so natural, amazing!

Great emotion in this one. In fact, the picture edges almost get in the way of what looks like a very nice picture in its own right.

I really like this picture and the lighting in each shot. Very good exspression and really tells a story of a Father that loves his little baby. Wonderful shot!!! Vote 10

Absolutely adorable. The lighting is just a bit harsh, however, I think that the effect of the photo is strong enough that the lighting doesn't matter a whole lot. I really like the way you have put these together like this. Such a tender moment. Good luck in the challenge.

Often times, there are shots in a challenge that make me go "WOW" then there are shots that make me go "WOW, I wish I had done that." This is one of the latter. This shot is awesome!!! The photography is powerful, the composition is powerful. It is wonderful. Hope it is on the "front" page next week!!!!!!

Waow .. what can I say .. I waited to come back to this one to see if I still see it very strong and ... I love it ...So strong in its quietness, so violent in its inocence. A great work ... it make me shivers for some reason. 10. needless to say that the realization is perfect and the tryptich concept very original.

Very cool, emotional photo. This is a bit of a different "take" on the challenge, I'm going to "go with it", but IMO it's on the edge. A little too bright for black and white and very little dark to offset it. 6 Rob the Swash

Beautiful concept, good use of B/W. I like the top right black vs. bottom left white. I think the composition would have been better if the sections were not buttonized (simple frames rather than "elevated" frames), and without the cast shadows. ~7

This is very nice, however the challenge desc. says 3 different photographs. This is one photograph cut up and arranged back together. I really love this idea and it's very well done except for the line going through the baby's nose.
