Huh? The 36th chamber? Is this some kind of meetingroom for a secret society?

This is a very dramatic, harmonious & visually appealing image. It's also a very strong entry from the point of view of the challenge theme; it could easily be a signature image for a martial arts fantasy like "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". That combination; the photographic quality of the image plus its thematic excellence, makes it my top pick and only 10.

Cool shot! makes me think of those ninja movies; the lighting is excellent and the silhouette of the person and the building give added mystery.

Nice silhouette and medieval concept. Clouds give the sky definition.

The overexposed area at the center of the image is a major distraction that will hurt this image in voting. There is some digital 'jaggies' along the horizon edge that should be cloned out to make a nice stark black edge. You might consider some dodge and burn to add more texture and interest to the clouds.

(if I was hipper I'd probably understand the title) silhouetted building and figure give this an edge over the rest of the photos... small nit but the composition is static (could use more negative space on left? Top? Bottom? - some playing around with it to give tension)

This image certainly captures a fantasy setting/feeling. Only issues I have is the overexposed area of the sky and there is a little too much black and the bottom.

Has a 'Prince of Persia' look to it more than a ShaoLin Monk look, but that's ok, I still like the photo. Possible a tighter crop on the bottom and right would give it more appeal. 6
