This picture is just awesome, the detail of the wings and I think the black and white aspect made it all the better. Although color may have been just as stunning. The beads of water on the ducks face are visible. I just love this shot. I may have to get a print of this.

Nice capture and black and white really allows one to focus on the wonderful shapes and tones of those large wing feathers. Unusual composition too. 7

awsome timing here. seems that most of the focus was on the wings, which isn't bad, but would have liked just a tad more focus on the face. 9

I am glad you did this in black and white. It really adds alot to the photo. You captured this moment so well that I am giving it one of my highest scores. I would not be suprised if this photo ends up in the top 10.

Great B/W piece! The detail and textures are superb. I think the lighting is a little harsh in spots, but it's difficult to take many points away from this one. Really beautiful job. (9)

Unbelievable capture. Absolutely no blur in the image. That is so hard to do, and yet you've managed to keep such details in the wings. The title is awesome. I love it. (9)

AWESOME!!!!! This is my most favorite kind of duck, and I almost submitted one very similar to this myself (you can see it in my profile). Yours is much better tho: it is SO crystal clear, and the detail of the water is absolutely perfect on yours!!! The only thing for me about your picture is that with the amazing colors of this bird, I wonder why you preferred black and white. . .but nevertheless, your picture is truly amazing and I love it!!!! 9
