| I agree with Mavrik in that I too am envious of this shot. Great colors, with great interest set by the man walking by. Nice work, you should have received a higher score. |

Hi Robbie!
Composition
Excellent use of the rule of thirds with your placement of the subject. I love how he's walking INTO the shot, as well. Beautiful.
Color
If color were an issue here, you'd have known it. The only "issue" is that it's the most striking feature of this shot.
Focus
The DoF could have been higher with a smaller aperture. Then the man would have been as in focus as the flowers around him. I think this shot is definitely one I'd have used aperature priority at like f8 or smaller.
Subject matter
You nailed the challenge, ripped a new definition of it - and should have finished higher than you did, despite your amazing score. Your subject(s) were amazing - a rare find.
Overall
This is a beautifully composed and exposed shot. I'm envious of work like this. Perfect work. Good luck on future challenges!

| This is a very unique photo. Where was the focus? While I like the breaker (the man) the focus should have been on the flowers. DOF with smaller opening. |

| I love this shot. The bold sweeps of colorful blooms work well against the man's bright yellow coat. One of the better shots of the challenge. I wish I could see another version from an angle that put the lines created by the tulips into more of a diagonal composition to add a bit more of a dynamic to the shot, but overall very nice. 9 |

| I know this probably wasn't a set up shot, but I really wish that person wasn't wearing bright sunshine yellow. A person smelling the flowers would have been more appropriate. Very cool location though. I want one! 7 |

I really would prefer this without the bloke walking across the frame.
If I ignore him I see an absolutely fantastic shot. The flowers in the foreground look great and I like the stripes of colour. |
