Very nice photo, looks like you took it in the wild? Everything is almost perfect, except the foreground is almost exactly the same color as the subject, making it distracting.

This is Grrrrrrrrrrrreaat!

this is a great shot, but for his missing legs! The backdrop is breathtaking and offers enough contrast to the sheep to bring him out, though the transition from green to rock distracts some. :)

Good subject. Excellent background. There is just enough contrast to make the subject really stand out. - 8

Good capture - nice depth in the picture. I hope you weren't hurt!

Awesome countryside (I wish it wasn't so oversaturated in the background) Nice crisp, shot of subject though.

Nice image. I really like the background and the rocks in the photo.

Super capture.

wonderful shot, great dof. only criticism would be if you could have held the camera a little higher and gotten some more of him in the photo.

Congratulation! Nice Picture. A professional shot!

A majestic pose - definitely worthy fauna. I don't like the lighting, but I like that he blends in with his surroundings in it. It just seems a bit harsh and direct. :)

The big horn looks like part of the rock - really its territory! I like the out of focus mountain in the background, further placing us. I might crop in a little, and it seems a little bright. But a very nice shot!

nice camera angle and image.

Great use of DOF! You went up high for this shot, didn't you!

Excellent combo of subject, foreground & background. Fits challenge perfectly.

Big Horns? Nice take.

Can see the point of including the foreground - really shows the effectiveness of the camouflage colour and it's location: conversely, it detracts from the immediacy of the shot, for me; would like to have seen it against only the distant background. Good work though.

Congrats on actually getting out to take the shot, rather than visiting the zoo like many others have done. Its nice and sharp, but mostly hidden behind that ridge.

Excellent capture and the lighting couldn't have been more perfect. Nicely focused. Shows great depth...like one step to the right and he could fall off. I almost get dizzy just looking at it.

04/23/2003 01:41:28 AM
Majestic!
04/23/2003 01:39:55 AM
nice but it needs a lot of DOF or just a little to blur the background more a 7

I love animal photos that don't look like you took them at a zoo. VERY nice !
This is interesting and holds the viewers attention. The light, textures and color are really great.
