This is an image of the smallest monkey in the world. Only found in the South Pacific Islands, the Tarsier monkey is an incredibly cute yet perplexing animal. This one actually lept 6' from my hand to a tree branch. They're very sensitive too and only partner with another monkey for life.

I don't think you are supposed to get these wet, or keep them up past midnight.

OMG! This little guy is so cute! WOW! The light on the hand is a bit bright, but small potatos compared to the overall image itself. GREAT capture!

I want one of those... where can I get one... :-)

Very cute shot. Although I have seen these on the TV but never a closeup like this. Just fell in love with the animal... hope they are not endangered. (I ask because I helpout in monetory forms / social service for protecting endangered species).

That is an absolutely cute monkey. I do have a few comments/ideas about the photo though. I guess the reason for your hand to be in the photograph is to show how small the monkey rerally is...i.e. provide a reference. I would have liked to see a tighter shot, with the Tarsier filling much of the frame.

OMG that looks like a creepy cross between a gremlin and a tree frog! How unusual! It would be great if you could clone out the person in the background. Nice color and focus! :o)

That's too weird, it looks like a cross between a monkey and a frog. Still kinda cute it it's own twisted way.
