Amazing shot. Kudos.

Wow, amazing shot! I'll bet that doesn't get caught on "film" too often.

At first I thought this was a double lightning strike. Looking at the surrounding scenery, it looks like a double exposure. Lightning is so hard to catch though.

way cool capture!!

good work

good job, nice picture
04/17/2003 01:48:23 PM
Nice image, but it seems that there is too much negative space around the subject in which you were trying to focus on .
04/17/2003 01:42:08 PM
nice...the picture would have been better if it wasn't all black. i'm sure it was hard though...good job
04/17/2003 01:40:38 PM

Lightening is very hard to catch !
04/16/2003 11:29:27 PM
Nice catch!

Yes, someone found real weather. Its a lot harder than i thought to get lightening but you did it. Too bad it was already so dark outside.
04/16/2003 01:13:49 PM
How did you catch that?
04/16/2003 06:51:50 AM
Wow is this for real??? You got very lucky here managing to photograph lightning if it is. Excellent, and parallel bolts included. Top shot, and great natural framing. My hat off to you.
04/15/2003 09:01:08 PM
i love the idea, wish it could have been a little sharper though
04/15/2003 05:15:48 PM
That's not two strikes. I see two images of everything there. Sneaky! Pretty cool capture regardless.
04/15/2003 03:58:16 PM
Lightning is grand when captured i a bottle. 8
04/15/2003 02:54:05 PM
I guess thats 1 bolt and the camera moved? Interesting shot
04/15/2003 02:38:28 PM
good use of theme, exposure could be better
04/15/2003 01:12:44 PM
Cool. Not very centered (left to right). I would have put the lightning right down the center line, and crop out the refelction(or whatever) at the bottom. A little grainy.
04/15/2003 06:50:57 AM
Great catch. I would crop it so that the lightning is a much bigger piece of the picture.
04/15/2003 02:43:15 AM
Beautiful! Needs some size...I would have loved to see the flash affect upon the surrounding clouds. High marks!
04/15/2003 02:05:31 AM
i luv how dark this is...
04/14/2003 11:10:50 PM
Lighting shots are really fun to look at. Yours has an added effect of the blast of light with a large dark frame.
04/14/2003 05:16:23 PM
Is this real?
04/14/2003 02:12:45 PM
I like your subject.
04/14/2003 12:13:41 PM
Nice capture
04/14/2003 07:26:45 AM
How'd you get this shot, then? Is it a long exposure or something? The lightning bolts are very similar shapes...

[incidentally I think you meant 'lightning' - you missed the 'n'!]
04/14/2003 07:00:28 AM
You ARE lucky.
04/14/2003 05:54:33 AM
Great capture, and so difficult to get lightning, but there are so many problems with the photo - darkness, the lightning is such a small area, focus, that I can't rate it very highly.
04/14/2003 02:49:11 AM
.... and from the looks of it so did everything else in your photo.
04/14/2003 01:53:04 AM
Very nice catch! I love doing these out in front of my house. THis would make a cool Pi submit. LOL.
I think cropping out some of the top part that is black would give a better affect.
