Nicely caught, though I would've preferred to see it banned with a little blur.

You took this? You actually took this? I give you a good score!

Is horse racing a game? It's not what I would think of as a game but rather a sport.

Nice stopped action.

Nice action shot! Suprisingly no motion blurs that I can see. Good depth of field as well.

Beautiful! Great capture of the race! Nice focusing and stop action. The only thing I would have changed is to frame it just a bit tighter cropping out the top, right above the white picket fence.

Judging from the shadows, you were shooting against the sun. This has resulted to the horses being underexposed. Probably use of a fill-in flash would have made things better. Although you would need a powerful one.
My eye immediately headed for the strong logos in the background (Nissan etc). In general the background is too clumsy. Probably, using a slower shutter speed with the panning method would have taken care of this and also have given your photo more impact.

It looks a trifle dark perhaps the time of day

Great shot! (maybe a little dark) I like the 'bit of blur', adds to the speed, plus you got flying dirt. (Did you win?)

It's amazing how two shots can be so similar and yet so different. The composition on this shot is absolutely flawless. You do an outstanding job of bringing a large number of elements together and combining them into a scene. Even the rails and fences, which can easily be a distraction if not dealt with properly, manage to lead the eye back into the main subject. This is the kind of detail I often miss. Also, your shot conveys competition much more than mine does. The only thing I might have done differently would have been to step the aperture up just a little bit to tighten the focus and soften the background. The extra light also would have helped separate the horses from each other. Overall, this is a top-quality shot, and one of my three 10's for the week.

Better light on the horses would have added a bunch.

I like this one. Think I'll go and buy a Nissan :) I think by cropping a little further you could have filled the frame even more and gotten rid of the buildings in the background, leaving just the white picket fence at the top

It´s as if all those feet are on the same horse.

This is just my slant but the subject should be entering not leaving the center of the frame.

Good composition, action, and color. Personal taste: It might be my computer, but I'd like to see more separation between animals.

Very nice stop motion shot. I personally find so many hoizontal lines thru the shot slightly distracting, and would have cropped it closer to the subject if possible. I know its hard with the dimentional limits of the contest. Over all a good picture IMO.
