SUPER last minute. Found this really hard to light, iso settings arent really an option for me, I get loads of noise over iso 100, so if anyone has an DSLR that need a good home...hint hint...

Used two light sources, I really liked all the shadows created, to me it emphasises the hand bursting through. I cant get the colours right, my hand looks like i have scurvy. Still I've had enought now! time for bed said zebedee

hey man i feel for you. I went and bought my first digital camera 3 years ago it was the SONY DSC F717 I thought it was the best camera in the world as I was compairing it only against other shitty cameras then I began to learn more about it and found that it sucked at ISO 100+ so when the DSC f828 Came out I jumped on it .. that only realy helped alittle I can go to ISO 200 without too much trouble . .
After reading through my 18 diffrent subscriptions to various photography magazines for 3 years I quickly learned that the only way to go is SLR's
CANON is on top of the ball with it's new Canon EOS 1DS Mark II it's grain dosn't show up until ISO 800 and still because of the Resolution you can scale the images and nearly eliminate it. plus paint shop pro 9.0 does an awesome job at removing the noise.

buy a mark II either the EOS 1DS or the EOS 1D or you could go all the way and buy a phase one 22mp back and hasselblad but you wont get the same shooting flexability as the canon.

Personaly im going to try and hold out for the next model canon has to offer if it isn't too long from now.

keep in touch dude

Here's Jonny?! I like the ragged edges of the paper which is what makes the shot for me. Great lighting. Good sense of drama.

Has a yellowish tint, which makes the hand look a little sickly. Besides that, I like this a lot. Very dynamic.

Technically sound, creative and well executed shot. One of my picks thus far. Don't tak this the wrong way (it's that attention to detail thing I have going) but clean up cuticals on the hand and you got yourself a wicked stock photo or poster. The whites around the finger nails just seem to jump out at me.
