 Focal length 17mm, a 103 ND filter and a Circular polarizer stacked together. This is a little bit west of Skógar in the south of Iceland. Changed the WB too a little bit more blue and increased the contrast in C1 and then used curves to also increase the contrast and cropped into a 2:1 panorama. I then used selective colour to boost the blue colour in the shot to get the sky darker, the reds a bit redder to get the brown tone in the mountain to stand out more and lightened the whites to make the snow stand out a bit more too and finally sharpened a little bit with unsharp mask.

Here is an outtake that I was complementing entering instead. Oh and later, I entered a shot of the same location that I took in february in the "Best of 2005" challenge, that was the time I scouted this location.

Breathtaking photograph and will probably score well do to how gorgeous this photo really is. I will point out though that the focus is on the abandoned buildings and I expect the photo to lead me to the main subject which in this case it does not. My view goes directly to the mountain range, just my observation but great capture.

I took several shots of this house last summer, but can't use it now. You have made a great photo out of it. I like the contrast in colours and the composition. Great work!

The buildings are overwhelmed by the beautiful landscape and the intense blue sky, for this challenge a tighter shot ... nice shot

Stunning. I gotta get me a ND filter! However, this image is hurt by the 640 max rule. You could have cropped some and brought more attention to the ruins. A ribbon for sure. 8

Very nice picture. The building sort of gets lost in the beauty of the mountains. They kind of blend in a little with the mountain side. I think a closer view of the building might have worked a little better.

One of the best submissions in this challenge in my opinion.
Composition is as good as it gets, color levels not over-saturated, great detail and a pleasant subject matter. You got my 10. Hope to see this one of the home page.
