This is a nice action shot, We had tickets to Rugby for tonight but the weather was bad so we didn't go. Lucky the tickets were free. If it had been the All Blacks playing we might have dealt with the weather.

Great shot. I have tried to get some good shots of teenager sons rugby games and found it a lot harder that it would seem. Players are always facing the wrong way or some one runs in front of camera and mucks up focus at the that crucial second and I miss the great shot, so appreciate a good shot when I see one.

Thought your photo was hilarious and very well done! Don't know how many times I've seen that. I play B-side for the Toledo Celtics. Saturday we beat Cleveland, but Sunday we lost to Twin Cities, so I don't know if we get our trip to Chicago for the 2nd round. Keep up the great shooting!

is the expression on the guy on the left because of the smell coming up from the trousers? real funny, good catch. Good luck

Love the color and the detail in this image. Excellent timing. People go on and on about the rule of thirds and centering but don't believe it. I think this is great and well done exactly as composed and cropped. 9 from me!

I originally scored 8 on this shot - but on review upped it to 10. I'm no pro but I suspect timing is one of the most important components of a good photographer. Great shot!! Got a good laugh from it. Cheers

See now, THAT'S why it's important to wear underwear while playing rugby. Incidentally, that red player is way too small to try to tackle around the chest, he really needs to go for the legs. What is he, the scrumhalf?

Let me guess... they're trying to put ice in his pants? :)

Great action shot! Well done!

This is the "other" fine rugby picture. There's one that is a better capture of "action", showing mid-air bodies and a frozen ball, but this one is funny as hell and I've no doubt it will make top 10.

OMG that is too funny, so my questions are: did they pull the guys pants off and why is the one guy on the left looking at his butt???? Good job, I like the way the whole frame is filled with your subjects, good color and those expressions are just priceless

This defines "extreme action" and also manages to capture a little humor with it...it is a stunning shot with motion and excitement; a lot going on, but it all comes together in the center of the frame with that fabric stretching..8

Did they find what they were looking for? LOL.

Hmm.. Extreme by several measures. It's a great action shot.

Though I appreciate the strong bokeh, I wish more of the players faces were in sharper focus. The lighting seems strange: it seems a little flat and it seems to produce a cyan cast to the skin. Still, nice effort.

This one made me laugh. Colors are excellent and really pop off the screen. Composition is fabulous, and so is the subject matter! (10)

The second to last thing I check before going into the game is to make sure my drawstring is tied. Nice shot, one of my favorites. Might have tried sharping just a little more.
