Hi....I live in Duvall. It was nice to find someone from my neck of the woods. I just bought a Canon S2 IS and am starting to get back into photography....Hopefully I can get as good as you are !!

I think the twig would have been good, except that it complemented the dip in the line of trees a bit too well.

Thank you for your comments. It has been quite helpful to get feedback. The little twig at the top I left in on purpose for the effect of peering out from the trees, but I see it was more distracting, rather than setting the mood. I also liked the other suggestions on cropping and framing. I'm going to try the suggestion about the "thirds".

Beautiful. The colors of the lake/tree/sky is very nice, and it looks so peaceful and serene. I know someone has probably mentioned the leaves and twig at the top, so I won't. :-) If it had been possible to position yourself so that the diagonal piece of land in the lower left was more prominent, that may have given the picture a little more "direction." It didn't affect the score because I fully realize that may not have been possible, but it might be something to consider.

The reflections are beautiful, but the photo feels like it slopes a little bit to the right.

Neat scene. The stray branch at the top kind of distracts...I think if you could have, focusing in on the tree trunks reflected in the water to the right would have made it a stronger image.

One of my favorites this week. How'd the little branch at the top sneak in there?

Nice photo. Low contrast subject(s) reduce the effect. Photo 9 Creativity 8 Upsidedown 8 total 8
The best reflection so far had sparcer subject matter, only shot the water, closer up and had nice items of interest in the water.
I like the stump. Could you have obtained a higher vantage point? (shot more downwards, centering on the stump)

Great reflection. I think a tighter crop is needed thouh.

One of the best reflections

Try using rule of thirds. Instead of cutting this right in half put your horizon on the top third so that we can see more of your subject, the "Mirror Image"

Beauty! I love the blue in the water. It's so rich and vivid.

Beautiful and very peaceful.

I think this is my favorite of the reflection images... the items hanging from the top of the frame are slightly distracting, but otherwise, a good photo! nice job...

the image of the trees in the lake is a bit darkish
