I took this shot from the top of a 5 story parking deck. You get looked at pretty funny carrying 2 printer boxes, a TV trey, newspaper, and a water glass up there, or at least that is what the two cops that stopped me said. I had to put the TV trey on top of the two boxes to boost it over the railing.

Thats awesome that you got stopped by the Cops with all that stuff,lol.... I got stopped alot in downtown Atlanta, shooting photos... especially at marta on peachtree st. in mid town... they treated me,like I was about to have a terrorist attack with my camera,literally,lol.... im supprised they let you do it there... I like this photo though, creative....and a genius, cause I should have used a glass with liquid instead of buying my Nikkor 10.5mm fisheye,lol.... Great job man..

I work 1 mile from where this was shot, what a wonderful photo you captured from such an ordinary location!! Excellent!

Thanks for all of your comments and votes. There were alot of things on this picture I wanted to do better but to be honest I didn't have the time. About the time I got it set up a police car showed up along with 2 officers and told me I couldn't take pictures up there. I told him I was almost done and he said 1 more shot, this was it.

The details on this photo are hilarious. Nice job, and congrats on the win! :)

Good capture and focus. I like the fact that you have to look closely at the picture to see the "upside-down" part, yet it is obvious enough to not totally confound the viewer. The paper and glasses give it a "natural" feel.

I really like this shot. It's very well set up. But, the Atlanta paper tells me who it was taken by, if I'm not mistaken. So, I don't feel comfortable scoring it higher than other favorites that remain anonymous.

Best of the water glass shots, and that is saying something since I contributed a water glass shot this week.

You have a better depth of field than any other and great idea of upside element. One of my ten best.

This is an awesome effect -- though I think its two fallbacks are: 1 - the dirty glass. 2 - I think the title detracts from the effect of the photo, as it doesn't match it well.

Very nicely composed and executed. In my top 5.

Very sneaky! It caught me by surprise. I love the distortion of the image in the glass.

GREAT idea. I'd love to see this one shot again on a day with bright blue skies and puffy white clouds. As it stands, though, the only comment I have is that I think I'd have tried to get rid of the air bubbles in the water, and the water spots on the upper part of the glass. Make it a perfect "lens" without all the "imperfections".

this is nice, i liked the muted background and the way it reflects in the glass...

This is very well done. I think the spots on the glass are a little distracting though.

Nicely done. I'd have gotten in a little closer to emphasize the glass over the surroundings, but that's me. Odd how the glass, wall, and buildings in the far background show more lean than the two dark buildings at UL.

I like the concept and composition...an unscarred glass (or is that intentional?) and a more cooperative sky would have helped make it outstanding.

dude, this kicks buttt. but you shoulda gone in tight on the glass for that extra mmpmh. that should be the most impt thing in this pic - this way it is too diminished.

I really love Atlanta... this is a very nicely executed photo.. Can't make any suggestions for improvement.. The subtle 'upside down' reflection in the glass of water is very nice... :)

Creative idea. I think I might have liked this better cropped in tighter on the wine glass and reflection. The eyeglasses and newspaper make me wonder why someone would be drinking water out of a wine glass in the morning.

Nice lighting, nice framing, nice focus! Great pic. Dont like the glasses in that position though - look overly "prop-py" - not natural enough.
