canon 50mm f:1.8 @ ISO 200 - f:8 - 1/60th - handheld - halogen lights aimed up at wall behind glasses.

the wall behind the glasses is blue. the way the lights were positioned, the lower half was purposely overexposed. the camera angle was such as to get the transition centered around the base of the glasses. very minimal post processing, it's barely even sharpend.

it is difficult to get reflectionless glass...

thanks for all the votes, and comments. unfortunatley i didn't get a chance to vote on all the images in this challenge due to a couple household emergencies caused by the rapidly melting snow, which ate up most of my spare time at home.

Youn should have used a mirror, but I guess stacking them works. Just the flat bottom betrays the title.

Nice idea...seems a bit tight on the bottom. Perhaps the angle could have been moved up a bit? Then you may have lost the reflection in the bottom glass...tough choice probably. Good luck.

Loved the way u stacked the glasses and used the background to give a "mirror" effect!

Really, REALLY awesome picture. The focus is unbelievable, and the gradient background is incredible. I would say good luck, but I'm sure this one doesn't need it. 10
