As care free and candid looking as it gets ... whether it was or not. Well done making us feel like an intruder on her private moment of boredom and daydreaming.
P.S. Not to mention that the technicals on this image are sharp and beautiful.

| Phil thinks this is "a pretty good photo" and he would like to see it in full color. I wonder if you captured this image in color and changed it to black and white during editing? If so, we can consider buying a copy from you in the DCPrints. This would be an experiment for the very first time ever. Get back to us please and keep on shooting great photos. Just goes to show that you don't need a fancy, expensive, gazillion megapixel SLR to take award-winning photos. This is a technically and creatively superb shot!! Congratulations on your well-deserved blue ribbon!!!!!!

| This is a very sharp image it looks very nice in black and white. The texture of the ground, her clothes, her hair and the tire look great. The shadow on the ground also looks very nice. This can also be related to being bored because i remember doing these things when i was little. |

Very good shot. Love the B&W here. The exposure is excellent, and the composition is great. I would really have loved to see this girls face, but that may have ruined the shot.

| Now this is a refreshing "bored" photo! Very well shot and not the usual stuff. Maybe because it reminds me of when I was bored as a kid, maybe I see my kids doing the same thing, but you have really captured an emotion...a moment. It doesn't look staged really either. Good job. |
