Well you didn't waste any time ribboning with that 350D. Congrats, Ed!

How do you manage to come up with something this good for every single challenge! Excellent stuff.

I was sure this one was going to get the blue ribbon, I am sorry I was wrong. From the moment I saw it, I liked it. I gave it a straight 10 from the beginning. I was not surprised when later I saw it was yours, it has the same "feeling" as your "father and son" picture, they are alone in their own world.

Congratulations for such a great picture :)

THis is a nice image. I like how the image was taken in black and white. Nice job.

I like the compositon, seems to work even better with "mr cell phone" providing contrast to her boredom. I'd like to see a bit of detail retained in the dark areas, but other than that I like the treatment.

I like this image it speaks volumes of the persons perspective of being with some one who likes their cell phone, or that down time of waiting for a bus. Glad it isn't a color image.

Now she looks bored! This is a good photo for the challenge. Although it may be "staged" it doesn't appear staged.

a good score for you .. as i can relate; in addition i like the compositional flow of the photo from top left columns going down through the man and young lady then down the steps/legs to the right

Great use of lines! Definately depicts boredom yet the photograph is definately not boring! GREAT JOB! I only wish your daughter's shirt did not blend in so much with her shadow, but that is a very minor detail. 10

i really like this candid for this challenge. good call on colorizing and i like the soft look. its soft enough but doesn't distort the edges of the people. good job.

The man in the photograph only seems to steal attention from the girl's strong portrayal of boredom

This I like. I can relate to this photo. Waiting for your folks to get done doing "parent" stuff can be excruciatingly boring. Well composed, body language on the daughter is priceless and the father not noticing his fathers boredom really completes this picture. Well done.

This is a very nice candid shot. It seems spontaneous and natural and, therefore, appealing. Love the composition and the overall feel, though I cant help noticing the girl's missing feet.

I really get a sense of boredom from your image. I think that it may be my favourite of the bunch.
