Bummer about the date code thing costing you a DQ. Lines it is, for sure. I like both of the primary elements, the pants and deck boards, and the way that the lines in the pants cut across the lines below. B&W is much better than color would be for this too, as B&W gives more equal weight to all the lines. The toes seem to add just the right amount of human. I would have rated this one well above average for composition, on theme, and it is just an interesting image to me. Did you try shooting with your knees a little apart to allow the deck lines to be in the middle as well?

cool idea. i would suggest perhaps shooting against a more plain background so that the lines on the deck do not distract from the lines on the pants.

I hope this wins... I don't think im passed even 20% yet but this is just a stellar image. Maybe just a little bit more contrast, but thats just personal. You should be very happy with this shot. Hope it does well 10.

Freaky for me. I get a notion of deja-vu when wallpaper was painted in bold orange colors. Thanks.

What a great shot for this challenge. Pant, toe and wood grain lines make this image special. Should finish high in the challenge.
