Here I am. Got my hair cut and dyed. Took this against an off white (yellowish) wall.
Did auto fix, then desaturated the yellow cause the wall was yellow and the shadows. Then upped saturation on my red hair and then USM. That's it. I wanted to clone out my freckles, but I'm still not really comfortable cloning or doing editing like that.

Why don't you have this as your profile pic? This shot is GREAT! It not only accents your naturally beautiful features, but adds a certain je'n'est c'est qua to your profile! (I'm sure I spelled that wrong, but you know what I mean!)

Great shot!

Glad to see you made that 6 : ) ... though I think it deserved more.
This is seriously different to your other self-ports. Love the hair and I'm glad you left the freckles in - keep it real!

Indeed - under rated. Love your hair and you make a pretty picture. ; )

There's a fair bit of attitude in this - I reckon you must be a handful at times!

Good strong reds and a very nice high key treatment. The only negative would be the shadow of your hair, but even that isn't too much of a distraction. Very good shot, well done.

like the way that it is partly blown out

Love the colours and clarity of this shot...try setting up a little further from your background to avoid shadows...well done

Returning for comment. I like the pose, and the high key effect on the upper face. I like the shot, but I think it would have been better if the whole photo were high key. Down on your body, it seems to return to normal contrast. That suggestion aside, very good self portrait!

Great photo! I love the high contrast and the colors.
Your expression is just wonderful :-)

The starkness of the lighting in combination with the color makes this stand out. The lack of detail on the nose does distract.

wow... Fantastic portrait! I really like it. IMHO, it´s one of the best pics of this week. Furthermore, the model (You) are a really pretty girl. One of the DPC´s princess. Good luck. 9

Composition: 5
Technical: 4, I like the bright lighting, but maybe not quite as bright as to lose practically all detail. Maybe one more light on the background could white out the shadow from your hair over your right shoulder too
Appeal: 6
Challenge: 7
Overall Calculated Average Score: 6, I think portraits that show bare shoulders have an extra personal feel. Very nice

Great shot but my only thought is that I would like to see more cropping at the top maybe a cm or so or just show the top of the hair line, as it stands I want to see the hair surrounded by that wonderful vibrant white b/ground...

Returning for comment:
A great pose and lovely expression. While the processing here extends it to the border of a graphical representation, the effect works very well sonce the vital feautures are preserved. I would have cropped it just a little higher. Regardless, this image works well. Bumping up.

Your hair is a work of art itself!!! :-)

Awesome portrait, the high key whites really complement the reds in this photo well.

Nice high key Maybe some more space on the top and the right would improove the composition.

A score in a self-portrait challenge can always be helped by being a hot babe in the first place :) I might have tried to match the tones in the face a little more with the shoulders (in other words, blow out the upper body similar to the face, or tone the face like the shoulders)... but otherwise I like it a lot! Good luck!

It's your red hair that really boosts this image, especially in combination with the hard light. I like it :)

I'm sure it was intended but maybe I would have preferred less blowout on the face.

your hair looks real nice and sharp. Im really feeling the colors. I think you did a great job with the background, The only flaw is the harsh light on your face...I wanted to give you an 8 all along so GOOD LUCK !!

a bit overexposed- but you're still gorgeous.
hm. how to separate the aesthetics of the subject from the picture itself?
is that even possible?
you have posed me with a conundrum!
