Very good execution and great expression. It doesn't look posed at all.

Very freaky. Excellent use of light and good capture of the look.

Creates an outstandung impression. The single light source is expertly placed and the facial expression foretells the beginning of the adventure. Bumping up.

I've been scanning thumbs...so far, I've only clicked on yours and one other, and I've been through more than half. That shot and yours both have a captivating appeal that begs the viewer to take a closer look. Good luck...by the way, kinda reminds me (and I appologize if this is offensive to you) of something out of the upcoming Star Wars movie advertising.

Creepy. Excellent lighting though - I love how the edges of the hood are highlighted. Very clear and well done; exposure seems perfect, and the focus is right on.

I have looked at this a few times now and am still re evaluating my thoughts, at this moment , I like the image, it does however have a slight sinister feel to it and I am sure that if this was not a basic challenge you would have played with the whites of the eyes.

OO dark!! You're like that guy in the original Highlander movie.

Time after time, I keep coming back to this image. If I could vote, this would be my #1 choice. Technically, excellent lighting and exposure. Compositionally strong. Emotionally compelling. Bravo!

Hi labuda.

Labuda without the star, isn't it? Or maybe the model in that picture :) Nice shot. I wish there were more visible in the left eye over the glint. But maybe that's the effect you were going for? Looks evil for sure :)

hmm, i think the hoody and scruff is better on the previous shot, but the skin colours are better here. its hard to decide which is better, but because this one has a fully black backround as opposed to the other one, it gives it a much better look.
02/14/2005 03:21:24 PM
Hm, this looks familiar. Didn't you enter a similar picture for a recent challenge?
--I like this one better, though. Great lighting.

Strong form and a good reflection of your worrying character. You're not well and have probably killed many, many times.

Good luck in the challenge. I am your friend.

Very nice ... I would have liked it even more if you would have cloned out the light source from the whites of you eyes.
02/14/2005 12:46:54 AM
Nice to see this one :) Looks even better without the star.
