Til hamingju með fimmta sætið sjálf en það er líklega meira svekkjandi fyrir mig en þig að fá einkunn langt yfir 7 en engan borða.

En þetta kemur kannski bara næst hjá manni... eða bara einhvern tíman.

Just a really good portrait. I really like the use of negative space in your images. It´s a little bit different and original, but I really like it. Furthermore, you seems a very beatiful girl, but just be happy!!!! 10

Hello Heida! Why so sad? With all your talent and so much admiration from others, you should have a permanent smile wrapped all the way around your head. Nice job burning that background, too. ;-)

you are as beautiful as your photos! I like the lighting here as it accentuates your strong cheekbones and jawline. Your lips and eyes look great, especially the catchlights. I'm not that crazy about the pose and the crop. Your shoulder seems to be sticking out a bit strangely but the way your are leaning into the frame does create a sense of intimacy. An excellent portrait overall, with the strenghs outweighing the few problems.

Beautiful clarity on your face and eyes Heida. Lighting is great. The composition doesn;t really do it for me though - but I can't put my finger on what I'd do to improve it. I find myself wanting to see a bit of 'something' in the dark area, despite some mottled background.

Anyway, I'm sure this will do well.

Cheers
Jon

Hard to be anonymous in a self portrait. As usual, very creative technically excellent work. How long until you put out your first book? Seriously though, this is one of the first portraits I critiqued that uses a lot of negative space, but does so in harmony with the subject. Your exporession is perfect for the vast frame, and subtle shading in the backdrop. I expect to see this near the top.

Wow! I absolutely love this... The negative space reveals a lot of soul. The light is fabulous, the bright spot behind your head is a very nice (noticed) touch. The model is wonderful ;-). Very nice. I've only seen a few so far, but yours already look like a ribbon. Good luck!
