Done with camera movement, not PS. This is a crop of a circular spin with some hibiscus in the garden I took this past spring. Please let me know what you think!

I think the square crop works wonders for this piece. Excellent use of color and motion lines.

I am fond of abstract work, but it is hard to find something that actually moves me.
This one has.
Beautiful work. I love the colors and the dynamical feel of the movement. There's a slight grain which adds a bit of reality. Well, perhaps reality is not exactly the word I am looking for, but this grain is what differs this photo from a painting or some other kind of color spray.
I would be interested in seeing the original crop of the entire spin, although I suspect it will not have the same affect on me :-)
this one is just wonderful.

I like experiments like this. With colourful objects you can get tremendous results such as this one. Keep it up.

you are getting really good with this technique. :)

i love the colors in this, and the sense of motion is soothing, not overwhelming. well done.

I think you are really working on this angle long and hard enough to really develop an art, and are developing a idea of what is "just a mess of colors" and what is visually intriguing. I think that is a difficult line to walk. This one absolutely works for me - the colors and that lalance of motion.

as always, neil, dazzling work. you might consider putting them together in a series of similar images, 3-4 to a series. keep the croppings uniform, then group them by colors, patterns, etc. i think this would look nice diagonally cornered with van gogh sky--you'd just need two more images to fill out the square.

keep on posting!!! i'm lovin' this stuff!
