Absolut and the Blue Screen of Death, whata combo. Unfortunetely I can't adjust the aperture on my camera so the screen is a little out of focus

Cool idea and I like the execution - it works fine for me that the blue screen text is a little out of focus.

More of an advtg parody than an ad

Superb idea, and nicely done.

I gave this shot a high score because I thought it was clever, even if people outside of this forum might not ever get it :) But we're not worried about other people, so that doesn't matter. You did a good job on the focus and capturing a computer monitor, and have a nice themed color with everything having a blue look to it. Good job.

I love the idea! You can read the words on the screen and yet there is still good focus on the bottle.

Maybe if you squirt a few drops of vodka into the "cereal port" ... I find the vertical reflection on the neck a little harsh and distracting (if not limited by DPC specs I'd crop off a little more); otherwise I like it a lot.

I decided to come back and look it over again. Raised your score considerably. Bottle is a nice sharp image.

The blue looks good on the bottle. You need to have more of the name visible though.

you should have tried to get the whole absolut name in the picture, and maybe tried to get a clearer image of the blue screen. i like it though, especially the pissed old man

Did you try any with the text visible through the bottle? Might have been interesting. Loads of blue channel noise made more evident by the sharpening - reduces the clarity of the glass. Actually, there's what's bothering me - between the noise and not being able to see anything but blue screen behind the glass, the bottle could almost be opaqe. Still in my top 10. Nice work.

Excellent!! Very creative. I think I will buy some. I might have shown a little more of the word 'Vodka' and minimized the reflection behind that word. Very good all the same.

he he ... I'm sure we're all with you there :) Being an advertisement though, I'd rather see the full label of the bottle

must have taken a long time to get the background set up:) Nicely done, well focused - might have prefered the whole seal in the shot.

Boy, there is alot of who drink this stuff. Never even heard of it. :) I like it and didn't even have to read the title to figure it out, But I don't think it is wise to drink when you get frustrated. ;) Great picture.

creative, but the blue screen of death doesnt seem to have much of an association with absolut. great photo though.

Clever! Too bad this is a very familiar sight for me (well, not so much the vodka, but the screen)
