| Wow. The tone range in this is sublime!!! Sharpness and the faitly monotone in such a brilliant colour are great too but I feel it'x the emotive composition which makes this photo the gem that it is. Added to my faves. |

WOW!
I've had the biggest cheesy grin on my face the last 24hours! I am so chuffed with my first ribbon (thinking about printing one out and sticking it to my chest...), and to get so many kind words especially from so my people whose work I really admire. I really didnt think I'd do this well! This year my 2 goals were:
1) get a photo in the 7's
2) get a ribbon
So I'm thinking of retiring now!
Thanks again for all your votes, this has been a real boost to my confidence.

Here is an out-take from the challenge, there was a dood walking past in this one, but i managed to clone him. Glad i submitted the one I did!

| The grad filter looks a little strong but it helps create the monochromatic feel to the image. I like the framing of the couple and the kiss of light on the side of their heads. |

| This is a beautiful sky. The light is great. The composition is a little off IMO. The OOF grass blades in the foreground are distracting, and the couple is perhaps a bit too centered. Still one of my top picks. |

| Not that it's a bad thing, but the lighting and the reflection make this almost look like a painted backdrop like in a movie. Looks like a great place ... easy to imagine being there. |
