great detail inspite of the downpour..well focused and I like the way the tracks draw me into the picture and around the bend. My only negative thought would be that the background seems to tilt down hill and to the right a tad.

Very nice shot. The trees in the background make a person feel the dampness and the curve of the tracks leads you off into no where land. There is not much about this shot that I don't like but would one day like to see what it looks like if it were taken on a sunny day.

Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated. Will work on lighting.

I like the curvature of the origin of the bridge, leading to who knows where?

Cool impression of an old song title. The DoF here makes the trees in the background look almost painted (are you familiar with that PBS bearded guy who painted 'happy trees'?) - It works well in this photo.

Background colors seemed washed out for such a short distance

Someone else had a picture of this same bridge? Looks like it. Nice shot though!

Love your use of the curved bridge, and the background is a fantastic setting! Composition is excellent. Only thing I'd change about this image is, it seems the camera is slanted to the left a little. Not sure if this is intentional or not. Really enjoyed your photo. Keep up the great work!

Cool the way it makes you want to step on and follow the track `round the corner. The lean is a bit distracting once you notice it. Its great how the greens and the sharpness make the bridge stand out. Excellent selection of a unique bridge.

Looks like something out of South America. What a beauty. The colour in the trees and bushes are great. Just look at the colour in those wooden beams, the rust on the steel rails, the steel plates holding beam onto beam with the bolts. You've done a good job here. Hurray for you! I mean, you've even captured the weeds growing between the tracks just in front of that sign!

the smooth curve in this photo works very well... the misty/foggy weather seems to offer a nice sense of serenity in this shot as well... nice work :) - setzler

might have cropped in a bit on the lower right corner to remove that distraction. also, would increased saturation have brought out the green a bit more? very neat composition and subject.

Really great shot. Again tho, the picture is tilted so far the right I'm thinking that nobody has photoshop or ever noticed the "Rotate Picture" option in there. It's almost criminal that a pic this good is ruined by being titled 5 degrees to the right!! Still give you 7. Would be a 9 if it was rotated correctly. :)

It looks like the bridge is aiming to fling the train off the tracks when it shoots around that corner. A novel photograph though.

Leans a bit, and the composition could be better. Try rotating it anticlockwise about 2 degrees, and cropping closer on the right and top.
