| This is one of the best flying bird shots I have seen. In my opinion it is the placement of the horizon line and the colors of the blue and green background that make this so powerful. Great capture. 10 |

| This is just beautiful. So many people never get animals right. You gotta get the eyes, and you did. You gotta make them look natural, and you did. You gotta get them sharp, and you did. And you gotta somehow emphasize them, and your depth of field here is just perfect. I love it. Good luck in the challenge! |

| Love the detail of the bird and the position of the wings (very unusual to me because in most pictures I see they are fully extended rather than bent). Not crazy about the change in background color though. The green (or maybe its the blue) is a bit distracting and doesn't have the same feel as the other side. My husband disagrees, and it is still alot better than I could do, but that's my 2 cents. I gave this a 9. |

| would have won the bokeh challenge...has a good shot at best of 04 too :) well done. nice and sharp, focus is where it belongs. this is the first image i even looked at in the challenge, and i suspect i'm looking at one of the top images. |

| I really like this shot! Brilliant DOF, the clarity in the bird and it's feathers is amazong. The colours are so vibrant and it's eye looks in perfect focus. Well done! Full marks :-) |
