 Opened the kitchen curtains one morning and this woderful web caught my eye hanging off the garden washing line. Shot in raw and white balance converted to tungsten to give the image a blue tint, cloned out small patch of cocooned spider in one of the water droplets, sharpened and adjusted the contrast and brightness a little.

Sigma 105mm macro lense used

In April 2005 I won a Nikon D70 in the 'shallow depth of field' competition in the Practical Photography magazine with this image.

This photo is absolutely beautiful, the shallow DOF works so well. Congrats on an excellent capture, this is nature at its best.

I see you! Interesting self portrait in a way. The delicate strands of the web contrast nicely with the fat drops of water. Like a spider, it pulls you into the shot. 9

I would crop a little off the bottom and top...I think a wider frame would make it more dramatic. Otherwise this is awesome.
