Canon G5...seven gens ago, yet the photo still holds up well and looks current. A testimony to both Canon digital cameras and your photography. Great shot Ray.

Great capture of a classic American monument. I like the blue sky above it, but I also wonder if you were able to try sunrise or sunset?

I love the way you`ve captured this..that sky is straight out of a watercolour.
Very nicely done.

Lovely light, very nice colors, and great clarity. A small area of burn-out in the clouds but not noticable until I looked closely. Nice work.

An image so famous it might seem mundane. Yet... somehow I really like how you've captured it here. From teh sharpness and contrast to the colors, it all works nicely. Good luck in the challenge!

Just looking for Team America to fly out.... :-) Nicely framed, but may have benefitted from sunrise/sunset lighting to make the sky more interesting,

A poloriser here would have darkened that sky and made some needed contrast between the heads. Nice pic tho. would like to see in BW.

Almost looks like you captured this at a Minature World park. Nice crisp image and capture of this magnificent landmark. Well Done.

I don't know that I've ever seen a real photograph of Mt. Rushmore -- only what you see in books. This is really amazing, and I absolutely love it. Everything is crystal clear, and the colors are perfect. Good luck!
