This is the outer wall of Brighton marina during force 8-9 gales.
I was shooting into the sun and had to crop out the blown out sky.
Picked up a £60 speeding ticket going to get this. Worth every penny :)

Congrats on the blue. I like when photographers post their originals. It is more instructive than anything else and always proves that proper post processing turns an already good image into an award winner. Btw, I like the comet shots in your portfolio.

Lovely shot - perfect title. Those birds are icing on a stormy cake. Great light and a superb perspective on the structure. My only criticism is a lack of breathing space at the top, so I'd have let more sky in - even if it wasn't very stormy looking.
