Kathryn, I love to photograph swamps -- we have so many around Montgomery -- but I've never been able to get the wow factor in them. You've certainly taken me to school with your treatment here. It is just beautiful. Can't wait to try it.

Doesn't meet the challenge: zero.

But despite that I will upgrade it to a 10 - BECAUSE I LOVE IT! This had better ribbon or I'll run naked along the platform at Camden Town tube station. : )

aw, my. i am in awe. what an absolutely exquisite image. the sheer beauty you have captured is almost overwhelming. i feel for anyone who doesn't take the time to just sit back and soak this in. thanks for sharing, and good luck in the challenge.

Marvellous sense of depth, and great usage of duotone. Only improvement I can think of would be to straighten the image (maybe it is level, but something about the alignment of the trees and their reflections makes it feel tilted down on the right) 8
